Elvis Fitzgerald

Mr. Elvis Fitzgerald, 61, of 351 N. Main Street, Chatham, Virginia, departed this life on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was born June 18, 1962 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Clifton B. and Reverna Womack Fitzgerald. He was married to Pamela Fitzgerald, who survives.

He was a member of Shockoe Baptist Church and was employed by Dan Chem Technology for over 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memories two sons; Telvis Fitzgerald of Richmond, VA and Jonathan Fitzgerald of Chatham, VA; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Fitzgerald; four brothers, Clifton Fitzgerald (Nannie) of Blairs, VA, Dennis Fitzgerald (Lynnda) and Allen F. Fitzgerald (Sheila) both of Chatham, VA and Kim Fitzgerald (Karen) of Gretna, VA; three sisters, Elizabeth Mayo (Donald) of Blairs, VA, Velma Fitzgerald and Vickie Dillard both of Chatham, VA; mother-in-laws, Nannie M. Charles (Earnest) of Chatham, VA and Audrey Hodnett of Gretna, VA; eight sisters-in-laws, Juliet Woodruff, Marilyn Pope, Janett Hodnett, Cynthia Chapman, Rosalyn Battle (Morris), Angela Hanks, Tetanya Charles and Michele Bowman; three brother-in-laws, Michael Hodnett, Harvey Hodnett (Georgia) and Earnest Charles, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from the Chapel of Howerton Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from Shockoe Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Antonel A. Myler Sr., Eulogist and Rev. Donald Mayo, Presiding. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
