Donna Harston Obituary

Ms. Donna Rea Hairston, 59, of Memphis, TN departed this life on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Memphis Tennessee.

She was born September 28, 1963 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. She was the daughter to Carolyn Hairston of Danville, VA and the late Ike Goods of Roxboro, NC.

Donna was a graduate of Gretna High School and was employed with Microport in Memphis Tennessee.

In addition to her mother, survivors include one son, Jonathan Logan (Dallas, TX), a life partner, Sylvester Winbush (Cordova, TN), four brothers, Kermit Hairston, Keith (Jackie) Hairston, Terrance Hairston, and Kelly Hairston all of Danville, VA.; two sisters, Tramaine Hairston of Danville, VA, and Felicia (Derwin) Cordell of Mooresville, NC. A bonus daughter, Brianna Winbush, of Ripley, TN, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Ms. Donna Hairston will be held Saturday July 1, 2023 at 2 PM, from the chapel of Howerton Funeral Home.

Masks are required for all services.
